Each comedy-fantasy book is a standalone adventure, though the first five stories–like a season of television–will build off each other to introduce readers to the series, characters, and world. Plus: the first five covers are all illustrated by the fantastic Victor Rosas II.

Note: A common term for humorous longform prose fiction is “comic novel.”

The first five books of this series are those (comedic prose fiction), not to be confused with “comics/comic books/graphic novels.”

But! (and here’s where it might get confusing) There will also be comic book stories in this world and with these characters, starting with The Errands Errant.

And one more complication: By wordcount/most definitions, Uninvited Quests is considered a novel rather than than a novella. But it’s worth clarifying that it’s a short novel, not much longer than a long novella.

Yay confusion!
