Shift NC / APPCNC Public Service Announcements

I co-wrote a series of PSAs in 2008 for the Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention Campaign of North Carolina (now Shift NC), whose mission is “leading North Carolina to improve adolescent and young adult sexual health.”

Co-written and directed by Steve Milligan, who also cast me as an actor in one of them.

“Timing is Everything” was the comedic one.

“Unconditional” was the dramatic one.

(Yes, that bearded dad is me in “Unconditional.”)

Fun fact: the age difference between myself and the young woman playing my daughter would suggest that my character would’ve been about fourteen when he became a father.
